"Back then I was too young to see my
surroundings. I was too busy dreaming
about the other side of the sea.
Only now do I see the beauty
that was here all along."

I am a 22 years old and currently living in Clarksville, TN. I moved here from New York, my home state, to live with my husband. We were married last August! I started the beginning of my second year of college this past summer.
I love photography, it's become a serious passion of mine over the past year. Right now, I only use a Samsung Techwin and a Holga camera. Soon, I'd like to invest in a new camera, which is where all the money from print sales will go.
Mostly, I do nature and flower photography. Occasionally I also do more abstract or still-life photos.
In high school and my first year of community college, I studied Fine Arts. It was something I felt I would love to continue to do as a side project, but could never bring myself to do it as a full-time "job".
I hope that in the future I continue to grow, and learn and change and become better at what I love to do.
"We got quiet. The garden was combing her hair and putting on her earrings. The house was full of dancing creatures, not male not female but both, two lovers in one body. The books downstairs were reciting their poetry to each other, rubbing together, whispering through the leather covers. Wine was flowing through the water pipes. You had caught my leaping heart in your hand like a fish."

"Wish on everything. Pink cars are good, especially old ones. And stars of course, first stars and shooting stars. Planes will do if they are the first light in the sky and look like stars. Wish in tunnels, holding your breath and lifting your feet off the ground. Birthday candles. Baby teeth."
